Tap to order for nightlife. The next round, even when it's loud.

A nightlife ordering system for NYC clubs, lounges and rooftop bars: guests tap an NFC display at the table, booth or rail, or scan the QR code, order the next round or a bottle from their own phone with no app, and the ticket lands on the bar display your team already has open. Your servers, hosts and bartenders stay.

Or book a 15-minute call. From $297 a month, nothing taken per bottle, setup fee waived through 2026.

A group in a lounge booth orders the next round by tapping the printed display on their table

How tap-to-order works in a club or lounge.

Tap at the table, booth or rail

Every display carries an NFC tag and a QR code. A tap needs no camera and no light, which is what works in a dark room; phones that don't tap scan instead.

Order in the browser

The menu opens with no app download and no account. Guests pick drinks, bottles, mixers or food and send it.

The ticket hits the bar display

It arrives with a chime, written out and labeled with the table or spot it came from. Your team makes it and runs it.

Staff see it in the Tap2Order staff portal on the tablet behind the bar or a manager's phone. When a bottle or a mixer runs out, one tap marks it sold out behind every display; when the well is buried, staff pause phone ordering and switch it back on later. No terminals, no leased tablets, no POS to replace.

Where a loud night loses the next round.

A club rarely loses money on a bad drink. It loses it on the round nobody took. Here is what changes when guests can order from where they are.

  • Nobody has to be heard. A cocktail with a swap arrives in writing, not shouted over the music, so it's right the first time.
  • Nobody has to be seen. Guests in booths, on the mezzanine or out on the rooftop order without waiting to catch a server's eye.
  • The bar works a queue, not a crowd. On Growth Engine, the Algorithm paces the bar so a table's round lands together, guests see an honest wait, and new orders slow automatically when the bar is buried at 1 am.
  • Bigger tables, without the hard sell. On Growth, smart upsells suggest mixers with a bottle or food with a round while the guest is already ordering, timed happy hours switch on and off by themselves, and your reports show exactly what they added.
  • Bottles and mixers that count themselves. On Growth, every pour and every bottle deducts its recipe from stock, low-stock alerts arrive before doors open, and pour variance catches over-pouring, spills and theft. Nightly suggested orders are sized to your distributor's cases.
  • Ready before the rush. Peak-hour heatmaps turn into a prep list, so the ice, the garnish and the backup bottles are ready before the rush, and multi-language menus help the visitors in the room.

PlanMonthlyBest for
Essential Core$297Getting every order from the table to the bar: NFC and QR ordering, bar and kitchen display, sold-out and pause, tips at checkout with a daily tips report, sales dashboard, in-person setup
Growth Engine (Recommended)$597Selling more per guest and wasting less: upsells, bar pacing, bottle and mixer stock that counts itself, pour variance, menu performance
Pro Command$997Running up to 5 venues on numbers: bar staffing by hour, labor as a share of sales, a two-week forecast behind every order, a refund and void audit
Group HQCustom6 or more venues and franchises. Book a call.

No per-order commission. Sign by December 31, 2026 and the $599 setup fee is waived; it only comes back if you cancel inside the first quarter. The first term is 3 months, then quarter to quarter with 30 days' notice; annual prepay gives 2 months free. New York City's minimum wage is $17.00 an hour in 2026 (New York State Department of Labor), before payroll costs, for every extra person on the floor.

Example, not a result: Essential Core is around $10 a day. One $14 round a night that would otherwise have been missed pays for it. See pricing and plans

Set up in person in NYC, live within 7 days.

A uniformed Tap2Order team member programs and places your displays on the tables, booths and rail where guests actually stand and sit, then trains your team on the portal and a busy night. The guarantee in NYC: "Live within 7 days of your onboarding call, once we have your menu and venue details. If we miss it, your next month is free." Outside NYC, timing is confirmed per venue. Running a neighborhood bar rather than a club? The bar ordering system page covers that room; for every borough, see tap-to-order in NYC.

What nightlife owners ask.

Will this replace my servers or bartenders?

No. It's an extra way to order. Servers, hosts and bartenders still look after tables, make the drinks and handle the conversation, and guests who want to order from a person still can.

Is there an app to install?

No, and nobody downloads an app in a club. A tap or a scan opens the menu in the phone browser, with no account and no password.

Who checks ID?

Your staff, before anything is served. Tap-to-order takes the request; responsible service stays with your team.

What happens to tips?

Guests can add a tip at checkout, and a daily tips report shows what came in for payroll. How tips are pooled stays your house policy.

Do I have to change my POS?

No. Tap2Order sits beside your POS on devices you already have; if you need the two connected, custom integrations come with Pro Command.

Where do the displays go?

Wherever guests stand or sit and want to order: tables, booths, bar rails, the rooftop. Big rooms can add 10 more displays for $149, once.
